The breakfast was quite extensive with a variety of options, including fresh fruit and pastries. the location of the hotel was also very convenient, as it was located close to several restaurants and shops. the housekeeping staff did a good job in keeping the rooms clean and tidy.
The WiFi signal was not very strong and often unreliable.

Most friendly, helpful and flexible staff. Very clean.
My streetside room was a bit noisy (but which one isn´t in this town?) and others might be quiet but then they´d have no view or just on a tiny and somewhat shabby patio.

Great inclusive breakfast. Rooms, ok hotel is old but to me it was cute and had character. Don't expect it to look 4 or 5 star. But know it's clean, good location, excellent staff who can speak a little English and organize professional multilingual guided tours for you. It's gay friendly hotel so a good choice for my partner and I of 9 years.
Although I can sleep through level 5 hurricanes. It's very noisy for light sleepers whi have problems with noise. Montevideo has very loud busses and trucks that move 24 hours. Ask for back room when booking in. It's a budget hotel so don't expect double glazed windows.

This hotel is in a great area, close to everything in the old town and the downtown. the location is ideal for exploring the city's attractions on the main street. the rooms are clean and the breakfast is great with a generous buffet. the staff is kind and accommodating. Guests can enjoy a nice view from the rooms and there are facilities available for the convenience of the guests.
The Wi-Fi connection can be unreliable and slow at times.

I was very happy with the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and the free internet and buffet breakfast (delicious) was much appreciated. I have recommended it to friends travelling after me to Montevideo. In summary it's good value for money

The location was great and so was the breakfast
Expensive for for you received. Could be cleaner also and the street rooms are very noisy.

Spent Xmas here and it was amazing! The breakfast was delicious and varied, and there was even a special Xmas dinner offered. The location was perfect, with many shops and attractions nearby. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed.
The hotel is a bit old and could use some updates, especially in the room decor. , the noise from the street could be a bit bothersome at times.

Back rooms are quiet. The breakfast is extensive.
It is a worn down tired hotel, not the best choice among budget options.
